Morphly turns your selfies into studio-quality AI portraits. This guide walks you through the complete workflow from account creation to your first generated photo.

Step 1: Create an account

Go to morphly.app and sign up for free. No credit card required — you receive 5 free credits every day automatically.

Step 2: Create a Person Profile

A Person Profile is your AI identity. Morphly learns your facial features from a few reference photos and preserves your likeness across every portrait it generates.

1. Open the Photo Studio
2. Click Add Person in the People panel
3. Upload 1–5 clear face photos
4. Give the profile a name (optional) and click Add Person

Tips for best results:

• Use well-lit, front-facing photos with your face clearly visible
• Include photos from slightly different angles and expressions
• Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, or group shots where your face is partially covered
• More photos = better likeness accuracy

Creating a Person Profile is free and takes about a minute.

Step 3: Choose a scene and style

With your Person Profile selected:

1. Pick a Scene from the scene panel (sets the environment and lighting context)
2. Pick a Style from the style presets, or skip to write a custom prompt
3. Optionally add extra notes in the Custom Prompt field for fine-grained control

Step 4: Generate

Click Generate Photo. Morphly will produce your portrait in 20–40 seconds.

Each standard-quality generation costs 1 credit. Upgrading to Pro 4K costs 2 credits and delivers 4K resolution with ultra-detailed skin texture.

Step 5: Download or refine

Once generated:

• Download — saves the full-resolution image
• Regenerate — creates a new variation with the same settings
• Edit — use the chat-to-edit field to describe changes ("add softer lighting", "change background to outdoor park")
